DEEPWATER CEMETERY

Deepwater Cemetery, aka Knights of Phythias, is located in fairview Township, 829 SW 51 Road, Deepwater Missouri 64740

Deepwater is located in Henry County Missouri

The cemetery was formed by the Corsican lodge # 158 of the Knights of Phythias and was abandoned in 1938. The City of Deepwater took over the cemetery and began calling it the "Deepwater Cemetery" This cemetery is still active today.

In the early 1970s Ralph and Ruby Smith donated adjoining land for the cemetery and this land is called the Ralph Smith Memorial Addition.

This is a beautiful, well cared for cemetery. We are in the process of cataloging the graves at this time and ask if anyone has information of the unmarked graves, please contact us.

we are asking for donations to mark the graves and to upgrade the cemetery.

THE DEEPWATER CEMETERY BOARD IS WORKING VERY HARD TO IDENTIFY AND MARK ALL THE UNMARKED GRAVES IN THE CEMETERY.

TO DATE 61 NAMES AND GRAVES HAVE BEEN FOUND. IT IS OUR GOAL TO PERMANENTLY MARK THESE GRAVES DONATIONS AND INFORMATIONS IS REQUESTED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
